Step 1

Your profile

Your name, firm and firm size, the states where you are admitted with bar numbers, your practice areas, and the AI tools you use today. Two more choices: whether you are available for offers now, and the kinds of work you want (client engagements, expert tasks, or both). You can change these later in your settings.

Step 2

The agreement

You will read the full membership agreement and sign by typing your name before you finish joining. In short:

  1. Profile visibility and offers. Matching is anonymous. A legal tech company learns who you are (your name, firm and verified states) only if you accept its offer. You can pause or leave at any time.
  2. See our offer first. You will not negotiate individually with a legal tech company about the network opportunity until you have seen our offer. You may accept or decline that offer.
  3. No obligation. You are never required to accept an offer or any work.
  4. Training data license. Work you do through a legal tech company's platform on matters that come through that platform, and expert contributions you create for the program, may be used by that company to train and test its models. Client consent is collected at the company's intake. You may stop contributing at any time.
  5. Transfer. The agreement can be assigned to a successor if LawyerLoop AI™ is sold, on notice to you.
  6. Your practice. You keep your own clients, your fees and your independence.

Step 3

Verify your identity and licence

A quick photo ID and selfie check through Stripe, then we check your licence with each state's official source. Most checks are automatic. If your state is not automated yet, we review it by hand or ask for a Certificate of Good Standing. You are searchable only in the states that pass.
